JK- grade 3 music classes January 14th-18th

Grade 2 classes had a wonderful time learning the ukulele this week!  They learned how to play simple songs to the C chord.

 JK classes enjoyed keeping the beat to a fun musical game called choose your instrument.

SK classes enjoyed playing different rhythms with various percussion instruments.  They did ear training by listening to various rhythms and playing them back to me.

 We incorporated the SK space unit into our vocal warm up exercises.  They sang an arpeggio scale singing "Up to the moon and back!"

 Grade 1 students had fun using boom whackers to play simple rhythms.

The grade 3 classes loved learning the ukulele this week.  We sang The Lion Sleeps Tonight.

 The grade 2 classes were very responsible taking care of their new instruments.  They loved learning the C chord on the ukulele!
