Music classes the week of January 28th

The grade 3 classes enjoyed creating musical compositions with boom whackers and created group names for their musical masterpieces. The grade 3 classes notated their compositions using rhythmic notes with different colours. The grade 2 classes displayed their knowledge of the orchestral instruments that they heard in Peter and the wolf by drawing lines from the instrument to the correct character that was always correlated with a particular instrument. The grade 1 classes are wonderful at singing their songs with actions!

Jk-3 music classes November 12th-15th

The senior kindergarten's are doing such a great job enthusiastically rehearsing for the Christmas concert! The grade 2 students are busy practicing their dance for the Christmas concert. Junior Kindergarten students are enjoying learning how to print musical notation. The grade 3 students successfully completed writing musical compositions on the treble clef staff.

December 9th-13th music classes

All JK to grade 2 students were absolutely amazing in the "Radio Christmas" concert on Tuesday!! Here the Grade 1 students are performing "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree." All students sang with wonderful stage presence and enthusiasm! Grade 1 students did a wonderful job performing the "Christmas Clap!" The grade 3 to 8 students will performing in the "Christmas Villainy" concert this upcoming Tuesday, December 17th at 1pm and 6:30 pm at the dome!
